Last weekend saw the TotalSim team partake in a series of team building activities in Oxfordshire, organised specifically by MD Rob Lewis to put the mind, body and co-ordination of employees to the test.
The first challenge of the trip was a raft building competition between two teams. Taking inspiration from a Delta Wing, Team Rob Lewis opted for a low drag raft design. While fast in a straight line, the design experienced catastrophic structural failure when faced with the tug of war, against the other teams more conventional design.
After drying off, TotalSim enjoyed an evening of exceptional food and drink in the hotel before retiring to the rooms.
Feeling a little fragile we all got up early the next morning for a wakeboarding session. With the help of the instructors, we all soon got the hang of riding along on knee boards. The huge, youtube worthy wipeouts however, soon commenced when we graduated to the wake boards. With only a handful of us managing a full lap of the lake, Rob Lewis was crowned the TotalSim wakeboarding champion. We then headed home for a well-deserved early night, only to be awoken the next morning by a series of aching muscles we didn’t even know we had.
