New Code Update Released – 2.2.xD

TotalSim are pleased to announce an updated set of codes for their CFD process based around OpenFOAM®** 2.2.x.  A number of new features and improvements have made which we have outlined below (with large amounts of code restructuring behind the scenes). This is now available for download for Support Customers from our ftp area. If you need any assistance then please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Results of some of the testing that we’ve conducted (and can share) can be found on the wiki here. There hasn’t been a big change in the model results on any of the test cases that we’ve conducted or with the speed of the solver, however the update does allow us to use some of the newer functionality in OpenFOAM going forwards.

We are also in the process of updating the wiki articles to reflect these code changes so please get in touch if you have any questions. There is also a guide on how to migrate an existing 2.0.xC model to this new version on the wiki here together with an installation guide for this latest update which can be accessed on the wiki here.

If you would like to know more about CFD support with TotalSim or if you have any questions about any of the features below then please email us at support@totalsim.co.uk or call us on (+44) 01280 840 316.
